When you are by yourself or with a few friends at home and feel like having a beer or two, you can just open your refrigerator and take what you want. But when you have a large event which will carry on for hours and will have a large number of guests, then the simple refrigerator would not do. You would need a good beer tap system which will help you keep the beer flowing at the perfect temperature till the end of the event. When it comes to mobile or temporary dispensing systems for beer, there are several options for you. Let us look at a few of them.

Picnic Tap

This is best suited when you have a smaller group of a couple of dozen people at a picnic or any other outdoor event. The coolant used in this category is carbon dioxide. It is kept inside the cooler in the form of cartridges. Most picnic taps have a regulator to control the pressure. The pressure control is important because it impacts the amount of foam (or froth) that is formed.

Jockey Box

This is a remodelled ice cooler which acts as an efficient mobile cooler. Here too, a carbon dioxide tank is used for cooling. The carbon dioxide creates enough pressure on the beer keg inside the box to keep the beer cool. The keg is connected to the outer box with the help of a coupling mechanism. The beer flows through cold plates or cooled stainless steel coils. There are faucets attached to the outer part of the jockey box through which the beer flows into the glasses. Jockey boxes are good for larger events and it helps in cooling the beer for longer periods of time.

Mobile Cool Rooms

When the event is of a much bigger magnitude, you should use mobile cool rooms Sydney. These are huge boxes which can also be transported to the venue. They require electric connection of 240V. Apart from events, there are some other uses of mobile cool rooms. They are used for breakdown contingency or for emergency temporary cold storage. These are extensively used by restaurants, catering chains, food processing companies, seafood processing companies etc.

Starter Kegs

These are much smaller starter kits in metal and plastic, and usually have a capacity of around 6 litres. These can cool your beer up to 3 degrees, and have dispensers which are easy to use.

Sub Draught Beer Tap

These handy tools have a torp into which up to 2 litres of the beer is filled and there is a rubber tube which connects to the tap. Users often keep the vessel in a fridge beforehand to make the cooling more efficient.

Waytap

This runs on batteries and it uses sound waves to improve the flavour and aroma of the beer. Beer drinkers will get a better taste and get a much denser and creamier ‘head’ of foam. The biggest advantage of this is the sleek design and the low space it takes up on your kitchen shelf.
